French Aqua Opaline Domed Casket

This One of a Kind Beautiful French Aqua Opaline features a unique hand painted Pastoral Scenr including a Woman, Children and Animals. This Casket is in Excellent Condition. No chips or cracks present with an Ornate Hinge. 

The two cherubs holding a cartouche with roses is a very French Louis XVI revival motif.

The lid painting with shepherdesses and sheep is a classic Fête Champêtre pastoral scene inspired by François Boucher style imagery, which French decorators used heavily on opaline pieces.
