At Truce Luxury, we believe collecting antiques should feel thoughtful, transparent, and enjoyable. The following guidelines are designed to ensure clarity and confidence for our collectors while respecting the unique nature of antique and vintage objects.
Collector Approval Period
Select pieces may be eligible for a 48-hour collector approval period.
The approval period begins once the shipment is marked delivered by the carrier according to tracking confirmation.
Upon delivery, we recommend opening and inspecting your parcel promptly. If any concerns arise, please contact us within the 48-hour approval window.
If you anticipate travel or a delay in opening your package, we kindly ask that you notify us prior to shipment so arrangements can be made.
Due to the unique and irreplaceable nature of antique and vintage objects, approval returns are granted at the discretion of Truce Luxury, and items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received.
Unless otherwise stated, all sales are considered final.
Condition According to Age
Items sold through Truce Luxury are antique or vintage and have lived a life prior to entering our collections. Many pieces may have existed for decades or even centuries.
As a result, condition reflects natural age and use, which may include:
• light scratches
• wear to gilding or finishes
• small surface irregularities
• minor losses or patina consistent with age
These characteristics are considered part of the object’s authenticity and history. We make every effort to accurately describe the current condition of each piece.
Descriptions & Photographs
We provide detailed descriptions and high-quality photographs to offer collectors a comprehensive understanding of each object.
We strongly encourage collectors to carefully review all listing photographs, descriptions, and measurements prior to purchase.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, we warmly encourage you to reach out prior to completing your purchase. We are always happy to provide additional photographs or details.
Attribution & Historical Information
Information regarding materials, origin, age, and maker is provided based on available references, dealer information, historical resources, and professional experience.
Due to the age of many objects, complete historical documentation may not always exist. Descriptions of origin, age, or attribution represent our professional opinion to the best of our knowledge but should not be interpreted as guarantees.
Color & Appearance
Due to differences in lighting, photography, and individual screen settings, colors may appear slightly different in person than on digital displays.
We do our best to present each piece as accurately as possible.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If an item becomes lost in transit or arrives damaged due to shipping carrier handling, please contact us promptly.
In such cases, we will work closely with the carrier and offer the appropriate resolution, which may include a refund or claim process depending on the circumstances.
Customer Care
Our collectors remain our highest priority.
Should a purchase require special attention—such as expedited delivery, gift preparation, or other accommodations—we are always happy to assist whenever possible.
