A refined antique French opaline glass amphora vase in luminous opaque white, beautifully mounted in gilt bronze. Crafted during the Napoléon III period of 19th century, this elegant decorative object exemplifies the richly ornamental taste of the Second Empire.

Finely cast gilt bronze mounts embrace the form, featuring ribbon-like scrolling handles, naturalistic foliate elements, and a shaped collar and foot. The vase stands securely on four small gilt bronze feet, elevating the piece and enhancing its sculptural presence. 

Condition is Pre Owned. Item has Patina and Wear to Bronze. There is air bubbles and debris from the Handblown nature of the Glass. A split is seen on one side of the removable gilt collar on top. No chips or cracks present.
